Funny Money Wraps up Halloween in Style

Rockers Funny Money returned to Southern Maryland at the Hollywood Volunteer Firehouse on Friday, Oct. 31 to put a close to this year's Halloween in grand style. The band played their full repertoire of classic rock and roll to the delight of a frolicking crowd.

These guys were a little more than classic rock. They played some tunes from their more famous daze as "Kix" and they have a newer CD that is coming out under their name "Funny Money". They truly put on a great show! They are super nice guys, each one of them. Steve's always been skinny but in more recent years adopted a "healthier life-style", only eating lean protein and veggies and certainly cleaning up his act. Spending so much time on the road and also teaching, it's very tempting to eat fast food. They will be playing at Jaxx and at the Rams Head in December with their original members and doing a Kix reunion. I've spoken recently with Brian Forsythe (original guitarist) who lives out in Los Angeles and they ALWAYS have a packed house when they do their reunion gigs. He's currently teaching guitar and he's a veterinary assistant. Though the venue was crowded, with more advertisement and notice, tons of people would surely have shown. :)
