On Dec. 5 around 8:30 p.m., emergency officials responded to a serious accident at 21138 Three Notch Road in Hermanville.

Upon arrival, rescue crews discovered three injured patients. Two patients required medevacs for their injuries, including one patient who was ejected, because they were not wearing a seatbelt.

Trooper 2 and Trooper 7 responded to the scene to transport a male and female patient to Prince George's Shock Trauma. An additional patient was transported to St. Mary's Hospital with minor injuries.

Units from Bay District, Lexington Park, Ridge and Second District all responded to the call.

No word on the cause of the crash.
