On May 27 at 9:29 p.m., Charles County Sheriff’s officers responded to the 1000 block of Jubilee Way in Waldorf for the report of a stabbing.

Investigation revealed the victim, Antonio McVicker, 17 of Waldorf, was walking with another 17-year-old male near the intersection of Dorset Drive and Jubilee Way when an unknown suspect ran up, confronted the victim and stabbed him once in the abdomen. The suspect – who was wearing dark clothing which partially covered his face – fled, possibly in a white car. The victim ran a short distance to Jubilee Way and collapsed. He was transported to a nearby hospital where he died upon arrival. Detectives are in the process of establishing a motive.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Charles County Sheriff’s Office, Major Crimes Unit at (301) 609-6513. Callers wishing to remain anonymous may call Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-TIPS. A cash reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for the tip that leads to the arrest and indictment of the suspect.
