Drug Arrest Made in Church Parking Lot
2/1/2011
On January 29, 2011 at 3:27 a.m., TFC N. E. Gresko conducted a traffic stop on a silver Dodge Neon in the parking lot of St. John’s Church for a traffic violation.
Upon making contact with the vehicle, TFC Gresko detected the odor of burnt marijuana emitting from the vehicle. The operator of the vehicle was identified as Gary Lawrence Greinert, Jr., 30, of No Fixed Address, and advised that a probable cause search of the vehicle would be conducted.
Greinert was asked to exit the vehicle, at which time he became irate and combative. He was detained while the search was conducted for officer safety. The probable cause search revealed various forms of CDS and CDS Paraphernalia.
Greinert was notified that he was being placed under arrest for Possession of CDS and CDS Paraphernalia. Greinert was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where he was charged accordingly and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
