Man Arrested for Credit Card Theft

On February 7, 2012 the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office began an investigation into the theft of a credit card. Investigation revealed the victim realized her credit card was missing late in the evening on February 6, 2012. On February 7, 2012 the victim contacted her bank and learned her stolen credit card had been used on February 6, 2012 at approximately 11:40 p.m. and again on February 7, 2012 at approximately 3:50 a.m. at two local businesses. Deputy Knott responded to one of the local businesses and obtained video surveillance footage of a male using the stolen credit card. On February 23, 2012 Deputy Knott was able to identify the male as Felix Alexandro Pinto, Jr. 24 of California, Maryland. Pinto was arrested and charged with theft of a credit card and obtaining good and/or service using a stolen credit card.
