Juveniles Charged In Multiple Vehicle Breakins, Adult Has Pending Charges

The St. Mary’s County Bureau of Criminal Investigations, assisted by deputies from the Special Operations Division, initiated a joint investigation regarding multiple burglaries to motor vehicles at Leonardtown High School, the College of Southern Maryland and during Spring-Fest at the St. Mary’s County Fairgrounds.As a result of the joint investigation three suspects were identified as co-conspirators in these incidents, as well as similar incidents in Charles County, Prince George’s County and Anne Arundel County.Multiple items which were stolen from vehicles were recovered during the investigation.
Two seventeen year old male juveniles were arrested and charged with multiple counts of theft and rogue and vagabond.Additional charges are pending against an adult male suspect.
