Commissioner President Wayne Cooper (D) was joined by Commissioners Edith J. Patterson (D) and Samuel N. Graves, Jr., to hand out awards to the senior artists. Commissioner Cooper began the ceremony by reading a proclamation declaring May as Older American’s Month in Charles County.
