Mass of Christian BurialLife Celebration with Prayers at 7:00p.m.Rachel Mary Cecchini, 73, of Hughesville, MD, formerly of Camp Springs, MD, died May 3, 2012 at her residence. Born August 10, 1938 in Buffalo, NY, she was the daughter of Gilbert F. Mancuso and Theresa Altimonte Mancuso. Rachel began her
career as a teacher in Buffalo, NY. After her move to Maryland, she worked for Ceemar Construction, a family business based in Hughesville. She loved to sew, make afghans, do cross-stitch embroidery and was known as a great cook, especially Italian food. Her entire life was devoted to raising her family.

Rachel was predeceased by her parents and son, Gilbert R. Cecchini. She is survived by her husband, Louis R. Cecchini; sons, Louis R. Cecchini, III and his wife, Marlene and Russell J. Cecchini; Frances S. Cecchini, mother of her grandsons, Gilbert R. Cecchini, Jr. and Michael A. Cecchini.

The family will receive friends for Rachel's Life Celebration on Tuesday, May 8,
2012 from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8p.m. with prayers at 7:00p.m. at the Brinsfield-Echols Funeral
Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD. A Mass of Christian Burial
will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at 10:00a.m. at St. Francis De Sales
Catholic Church, Benedict, MD. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Church Cemetery,
Bryantown, MD.
