James F. Swann, 66, of La Plata, MD passed away on June 15, 2012 at Civista Medical Center. Born on July 13, 1945 in Washington D.C. to the late Thomas R. Swann and Mary G. Swann. He is also preceded in death by his brother; William P. Swann, and Sister; Doris M. Proctor. His brothers; Joseph T. Swann, Lee Swann, James I. Swann, Charles R. Swann, and John R. Swann survive James. He is also survived by Sisters; Annie T. Swann, Catherine M. Carroll, Mary J. Woodland, and Elizabeth M. Duckett. Viewing will take place on Friday, June 22, 2012 from 9 am until time of Funeral Mass at 10 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in La Plata, MD. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
