Life Celebration GatheringJames Robert "Jim" Rowell, 62, of Mechanicsville, MD died on August 25, 2012 at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC. He was born on January 23, 1950 to the late Bonnie (Moman) Rowell and the late John Lehmon Rowell in Mobile, AL.

Jim graduated from the University of Kentucky and also attended Wharton School of Business.
He was a retired Program Analyst in the office of the Commissioner with the U.S. Food & Drug Administration. Upon retiring, Jim continued a previous real estate career with Prudential Carruthers in Bethesda, MD and later with Prudential Ridgeway in Waldorf, MD.

Jim is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Lisa Elizabeth (Wyrick) Rowell; his four children, Summer Jaye Rowell, Lacy Jade Rowell, James Scott Rowell, and Mary Beth Darr; his brother, John Rowell, his sister, Theresa Marie Brown, and his two grandchildren, Allison Darr and Annabelle Darr.

Family and friends will be received for Jim's Life Celebration Gathering on Thursday, August 30, 2012, from 5-8PM at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622. There will be a private, family Inurnment at a later date.
