Are certified/licensed mental health professionals who work with people of all beliefs. They address spiritual issues at client request. They also refer for medical consultation and medication, if needed and maintain client confidentiality.
PCC provides service to:
Children and adolescents, adults of all ages. Services are provided for individuals, couples, families or others who request support services.
PCC also presents special topic groups for churches or institutions that request consultation and education.
Because pastoral counselors want to be available to help all who need help, PCC offers: Sliding Scale Fees based on income utilizing a Client Assistance Plan to help those who can't pay a full fee.

Charles County Children's Aid Society is a private non-profit agency that provides emergency assistance to families with children residing in Charles County. Children's Aid Society was founded in 1931 and has been dedicated to helping families in crisis. Assistance can take the form of help with rent/mortgage, utilities, clothing, baby items, prescriptions and food. Our agency is extremely dependent on donations. Currently we need non-perisable foods, baby items(diapers, wipes & formula) personal care items and monetary donations. Children's Aid Society accepts daily donations of good used clothing, toys and housewares. Currently Children's Aid is accepting vehicles for donation. We are also asking for used printer cartridges.
