Looking to rent out an upstairs bedroom (we have 2 available). I'M gonna put it all out there. We need someone with dependable income, because I am disabled and the wife is stay at home mom to take care of me and our son, so we need reliable income.The rooms are upstairs and there is a solid wooden door between access from the living room; so its like a duplex almost. You have privacy! There is also a separate entrance through the front door straight up the stairs if you prefer. We are a family with a 3 year old lil boy and do not need any drama, excessive drinking, partying, or drugs! We are a mid 30's couple with a 3yr boy. You really have to meet us to get the gist of our family!
Each room is about 12'x15'-they are quite large actually! You can paint or decorate as you want! Kids are ok, however the wife is not a babysitter. We have had people try to take advantage of her being a stay at home mom.
Electric is included in the rent. We have a Wi-Fi that can connect up to 3 more devices, however if you want cable you have to pay the additional $20 it costs for them to put a box up there.
The air conditioning will be a window unit, if the electric goes up more then $50, you will have to pay the difference from running the AC and extra electric from laundry.I will show you the bill.
We don't do or tolerate drugs or drug activity. We keep a clean house and expect you to pick up after yourself and keep your room clean.It will be peeked in on with you to make sure no dishes and trash are accumulating. You may cook whenever you want but we do dinner every night between 6 pm-8 pm depending on the day, and you are welcome to join. We don't provide food, you have to bring your own. But whatever is here you are welcome to eat as long as you don't eat us out of house and home.
We have 3 acres that we maintain, so you don't have to do yard work either.We also have a large garden so produce is NOT an issue during the spring and summer months! That saves us tons of money. We have plenty of parking area so multiple vehicles is not an issues. Couples are welcome!You can get one or both rooms, it's up to you.They are 400 each. I write up leases so its legit if you need paperwork. We really are a chill couple, just have a few pet peeves about the cleanliness and childcare thing. No problem if you are in and out or keep late hours. We do too. If you have any other questions, please call Steve.
