The Craft Guild Shop of Leonardtown, celebrating its 35th Anniversary will host its Spring Porch Party which will take place Saturday, May 5, from 9 am - 5 pm on the grounds of the Craft Guild Shop at 26005 Point Lookout Road (Rte. 5, next to the Maryland Antiques Center), Leonardtown, MD. The event will feature a wide variety of handcrafted items, demonstrations by several crafters -- Hans Boecher - handcrafted wooden pens, Kathleen Bryan - bow making, Joyce Owen - tole painting, Ardith Young - stained glass, Heather Young - pottery -- and others. Shelby's Custom Framing and Gifts, celebrating her 30th Anniversary, will present live afternoon music by the Folk Salad Trio and Andy Plautz will discuss her unique floral photographic techniques with soft watercolor effect.
