Chapman State Park. Come explore the park on Sunday July 15, 1-5 pm. Tour the historic Mount Aventine manor home, walk the trails that lead to the Potomac River, enjoy the spectacular river view, bring a picnic. Hosted by Friends of Chapman State Park. The park is at 3452 Ferry Pl., off Chapman's Landing Rd, Rte 210, Indian Head. Info at 301-753-6754, www.friendsofchapmansp.org. Donations requested.
