Skip the Monday morning commute and better your community with a round of golf at United Way of Calvert County's Golf Classic on Monday, August 20. Tee off at the Twin Shields Golf Club in Dunkirk with a shotgun start at 8:30 am. Take your chances with contests for longest drive, closest to the pin, hole in one, putting, door prizes, and more. The event concludes with a catered Awards Luncheon and craft beer tasting by Bob Hall, distributor of Budweiser. Teams are forming now at the reasonable cost of $300 for a foursome, or $75 per person. Marketing opportunities are available as a Tee Sponsor for $100 or as a Milestone Sponsor for $1000, which includes a team, on course signage, web ad and link, signage at the Awards Luncheon and four additional luncheon tickets. Proceeds help United Way of Calvert County reach its goal of raising one million dollars to benefit local initiatives that improve the education, financial stability and health of people living in Calvert County.
