Children's Choir - Fall Audition (8/28/2012)
Schubert Singers is now comprised of the Preparatory Choir (our beginner singers starting at age 5) with a separate rehearsal directed by Tammy Gross; Schubert Ensemble (experienced singers), and the Schubert Chorale (older and more advanced singers- currently through age 15) directed by Angela Garvey and Paula FitzGerald. Fall Auditions will be held from 6:00 to 7:00pm on Tuesday, August 28th, at Christ Church, 112 East Charles Street, La Plata, MD 20646. Interested singers will participate in a short rehearsal, and then sing for the directors, who will be listening for the ability to match pitch. Singers making successful auditions will begin rehearsals on September 4th in preparation for Epiphany concerts in January. The cost is $40 per child, with additional children in the same family at $25./child.
