Taylor Farm Refreshing?5/21/2009 10:54 PM EST I'm am SOOO disappointed with The Bay Net. Wtih any other story that I've seen on this site, you all have ripped people a new one with all the crap you post on this site. Then I come across this cute story of how Taylor Farm is such a refreshing take on senior living. I have an idea ... go send a reporter up there to snoop around on the over night shift, and let's see what kind of story you come back with. All this talk about 1 caregiver to 4 residents .... that's crap .... and half the girls' that work there aren't even certified for either medication dispensing, first aid, d-fib protocall, or they don't know any of it! I've witnessed so much of the opposite of what your quaint story told of this place. I'm not sure myself how this place is still open. I've heard on EMS scanners that someone who doesn't even speak english called 9-1-1 because of an emergency late at night. Dig alittle deeper BayNet and get us the real story!!!!!

I sent a question to TBN asking why these articles are not available for reader comments and received the following reply - everybody read it fast before TBN removes it: Good afternoon NotBornHere- Thank you for your comment/question in regards to why there is not a comment section set up on the Health section yet. There are many reasons as it why it hasn't been launched yet. First and foremost, we are in partnership with the hospital as well as other medical facilities and approval has to come from them in order for us to make it happen. Another reason, is that the site was just launced yesterday, so both parties would like to see the feedback on the page, before comments are allowed. This isn't to say that a comment section will never be in place, it is a work in progress at this point in time. We thank you for your feedback and look forward to your comments in the future. Re: Taylor Farm Refreshing? 5/22/2009 7:55 AM EST { In reply to h0tb0x20753 } Even then, bringing up something you heard on an 'EMS scanner' and not being an EMS provider within the county makes me shut you out. First and foremost, what you 'hear' over a scanner is partly the truth. The dispatcher may not have been able to understand the person calling, doesn't mean they didnt speak English. Either way, Thebaynet doesn't 'rip people a new one.' The users do it. If you get your feelings hurt by what you read, perhaps you should shut your computer off and never turn it back on.

But 9 outta 10 of them are med certified and everyone there must be CPR/First Aide certified... And are taught D-Fib protocall... Everyone there seems nice when ever i go in and see my family thats there and the houses are always clean and its a pretty place... you gotta figure would you want your family in a nursing home or taylor farms where there not in bed all the time??? so i think the baynet did a good job with the interview....
