Turn these scum in for calling you if you're on the Do Not Call List:

Charities can call people and solicit donations. Most people don't know it, but telemarketers working for charities can't legally call you once you tell them not to.

Observe the salaries being paid out of donations:

I hang up on any solicitations over the phone. *True Story* A co-worker had a senile uncle he was looking after, the uncle was very wealthy but starting to show symtoms of dementia. Co-worker took over his checking account and discovered that the uncle had given over 1500 a month for approximately 6 months to "Police Memorial Fund", "Retired Fireman's Fund", and assorted other 'funds' for police and firemen..Looking at the canceled checks, all were deposited to one bank account in Arizona. Co-worker called all over the place to report this scam and everyone said, well thats not our problem. Phone company, DC police, DC Fire department, the bank in question in Arizona...

You could try to file a fraud claim at your bank. They may or may not be able to do something, but it is worth a try for that much money. Also, I would try to call the State's Attorney and ask if they can do anything about it or recommend something.
