Calvert County Sheriff Mike Evans [R] confirms a headless body was found in a wooded area near Prince Frederick Boulevard this morning. Evans said investigators believe the remains might be those of an individual whose skull was found in the woods near Tate Road in September.

A Calvert Investigative Team detective reported Tuesday, Oct. 4 that authorities still have not identified a skull that was found in a wooded area of Prince Frederick Sept. 16. The skull was taken to the Maryland State Medical Examiner's Office in Baltimore.
