Waldorf man killed in Route 301 accident

A Waldorf man was killed Saturday morning when his van failed to stop for a red light and was struck by a tractor-trailer. According to the Maryland State Police, the van driven by William Mitchell, 59, failed to stop at a red light westbound at VFW Road at the U.S. 301 intersection.

Revised Martirano Budget Doubles Pay Hikes
