Strong Odor Leads to Arrest
LEXINGTON PARK - 10/30/2008

On Oct. 28 at 10:42 p.m., Deputy T. Snyder initiated a vehicle stop for a traffic violation on Great Mill’s Road in Lexington Park. Upon making contact with the operator of the vehicle, Anthony F. Deep III, 21 of Lexington Park, a strong odor of marijuana was detected emitting from the vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed a small quantity of suspected marijuana located in the center console and paraphernalia related to the use of marijuana. Deep was arrested, charged with possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia and incarcerated in the detention center pending a bond hearing before the District Court Commissioner. |
