Man Jailed on Outstanding Bench Warrant

On Oct. 30, at 9:20 a.m, Richard Gorman Swann, 33 of Piney Point, was arrested by TFC R. Rezza on an outstanding bench warrant for failing to appear in district court in Leonardtown on Sept. 5. The original charge was driving on a suspended license. Another bench warrant was also served for failing to make a deferred payment to the District Court in Calvert County. The original charge was possession of marijuana. Swann was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review. |
