Teens Busted Storing Pot in Soda Cans

Dep. Ian Umphrey conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Md. Route 231 near Prince Frederick Blvd. on Nov. 2 at 9:18 p.m. The occupants of the vehicle were found to be in possession of suspected marijuana. Dep. Umphrey arrested Timothy Avant, 20 of Prince Frederick, Lisa Marie Mister, 18 of Huntingtown, a 14-year-old male of Prince Frederick and a 17-year-old male also of Prince Frederick and charged each of them with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, a Monster Energy Drink can with a hidden compartment used to store marijuana. The two juveniles were charged on youth reports and released to a parent. |
