Homeowners Escape Injury in California House Fire

Around 10:35 a.m., firefighters from Bay District and Hollywood Fire Departments responded to a working house fire located at 23227 Hickory Nut Drive in the Wildewood Community in California.

Firefighters arrived on the scene to find smoke showing from the one-story single family home. Two people were home at the time of the blaze and were able to escape without injury. Both patients signed for refusal of treatment.

The fire has been ruled accidental.

The State Fire Marshall has been notified.
