At approximately 8:45 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 18, at 21139 Three Notch Road near Hermanville Road, there was a traffic accident that injured three people.

Units arrived on the scene to find two cars involved, a Kia Optima and a Hyundai Elantra along with one male victim lying in the roadway.

Rescue units from Ridge transported two victims to St. Mary’s Hospital, while rescue units from Lexington Park transported one patient to St. Mary's. One additional victim signed a refusal for treatment.

No word on what caused the crash. More information to follow as it is released by authorities.
