On Saturday, Dec. 13, three Prince Frederick-based art galleries are cooperating for a Holiday Art Walk. The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The galleries invite patrons of the arts and art lovers to come and explore three galleries overflowing with art, fine craft and creativity. CalvART, Chesapeake and Main Street galleries have planned a day of pleasure for all as they join together to present a wonderful and relaxing start on the season of joy. Each gallery has its own distinctive style, so visitors may expect to increase their delight threefold as they meander from one gallery to another. The festive displays of original art, sculpture, ceramic, jewelry, photography, hand blown glass and other surprises will make visions of sugarplums dance through your head. Those looking for special gifts to make the season bright will find plenty of creative and affordable ideas at each stop along the way. Refreshments and light fare complete the picture of a memorable experience in the beautiful and historic town of Prince Frederick.
