Passenger Busted for Drugs Under Seat

On Nov. 29, Dfc. J. Stone conducted a traffic stop at Morganza Turner Road and Kavanaugh Road.  As Dfc. Stone approached the vehicle he noticed the rear seat passenger, Donald Anthony Somerville, 51 of Mechanicsville, lunge forward and attempt to conceal something.  Dfc. Stone noticed controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia fragments on the seat and floor next to Somerville.  Further search of the vehicle revealed a glass smoking device, containing controlled dangerous substance residue under Somerville’s seat.  Somerville was arrested.
