Deli Worker Flown Out to Reattach Finger
LEXINGTON PARK - 12/9/2008
|
A woman working the deli counter at Food Lion in Lexington Park on Sunday had a serious mishap with the meat slicer. At around 2:15 p.m., the woman sliced off a good deal of her finger and had to be transported to PG Hospital in order to attempt to save the finger. Units from Bay District placed the severed finger in ice to try to preserve the tissue. Trooper 7 was called and transported the women. More details to follow as they become available. |
