UPDATE: Saturday Shooting in Calvert

UPDATE Jan. 12 10 a.m. Calvert County Sheriffs were called to a party that got out of control on Ponds Wood Road in Huntingtown on Saturaday, Jan. 10 at 2:54 a.m.  The suspect, John Kenneth Baione, 23 of Prince Frederick, was arrested after it was learned he allegedly shot a victim in the abdomen.  Baione advised Det. Ronald Naughton of the Calvert Investigative Team that he had fired the weapon in self defense after people at the party began fighting and the victim was approaching him with an ASP baton.  Baione was arrested and charged with first-degree assault.  The victim, who was taken to the hospital, has been released in good condition. TBN has learned that Calvert County Investigators are working the scene of a shooting on Ponds Wood Road in Huntingtown. Crime scene tape is up and the Crime Scene Investigative team is in place. No further details are available at this time. TBN will update this breaking news as more information becomes available.

This is breaking news, give them a break and let them report it as info comes in. Things change as the news developes. I like this format, unlike you i dont want tbn too be like a newspaper.

Just because it took over 24 hours for the TBN to update the story about somebody running around your neighborhood shooting people is no reason to get impatient.

lol! 1/13/2009 at 12:03 PM OK So they broke that someone shot a gun and 48 hours later they have a story. That is great. Who cares 2 days after the fact. I want to know what is going on at that time. You talk about this breaking news but they didn't do that. Your reasoning is flawed. I wonder if this comment will be declined by TBN...they didn't like my last one that wasn't friendly towards them.
