Hot Off the Press: Calvert County '09 Visitors' Guide

The 2009 Calvert County Visitors' Guide is now available. The Visitors' Guide contains information on shopping, restaurants and County visitor attractions like Breezy Point Beach & Campground, Annmarie Garden, Calvert Marine Museum, Jefferson Patterson Park and Museum, historic churches, five local wineries and many other places of interest. The Guide also features contact information and details on charter boating, marinas, boat ramps, campgrounds, golf courses, accommodations and biking/hiking trails. The County’s Calendar of Events is now maintained online, accompanied by a one-page rack card of major events that is distributed as a companion piece to the Visitors' Guide at hundreds of locations in the Baltimore/Washington, DC metropolitan area. Calvert County businesses and visitor sites are encouraged to use the free online calendar to post their events. Once registered, members can add, edit, renew or remove event listings throughout the year.
