Maryland Day Filled WIth Pomp and Ceremony

On Sunday, March 29, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Historic St. Mary’s City at the State House was host to a celebration of Maryland’s heritage. The day, featured a lot of pageantry, wreath-laying, speeches, and Ceremony of the Flags; with fourth-grade students from Maryland counties presenting their jurisdiction's colors. Governor Martin O'Malley was the keynote speaker for this special anniversary celebration. Bear Creek BBQ and Bailey's Catering fed the crowd and provided refreshments. TheBAYNET.com was there to record the fun and ceremony.
