Paradise is Just Around the Corner in California

Sometimes, people are surprised to find out that what they mainly consider a great place to have some fun and a hearty meal can also be one of the most active community benefactors around. Such is case with California’s Cheeseburger in Paradise located in the Wildewood Shopping Center. Cheeseburger in Paradise is not only active in supporting local charities, but school groups and, as a chain, across the nation the company is a staunch supporter of the arts and music
What’s more, the company, from the franchise level, ensures that all charitable offerings, such as fundraisers for local schools, guarantee that the school will receive 100 percent of the proceeds for their efforts; Take the case of Esperanza Middle School. The California Cheeseburger in Paradise just ran a fundraiser for the school where children were given discount tickets for Cheeseburger food and merchandise. The school sold each ticket for $10 and was able to keep the entire $10 for their fundraising effort.
According to Josh Mitchell, Cheeseburger and Paradise’s general manager, “We make sure that they can earn every penny available. We give them the tickets to sell and honor them in the store without charge to the organization.” Because of this policy, Esperanza was able to bank $2000 in its latest effort.
Other groups have taken advantage of the beneficence of the restaurant as well. The restaurant is currently working to help the Girl’s Lacrosse Team, the Jets to raise funds and then they will be fundraising for Southern Maryland BMX.
“They all will make all the money we have pledged,” reported Mitchell. ’It’s our way of giving back to the community in which we are located. We don’t spend a lot of money on advertising and other marketing, and use events such as our rain gutter races to get the word out. We also make sure that the money we would have spent on advertising is put back in to the community where it is needed most.”
Recently, the spirit of Cheeseburger in Paradise has rubbed off on TheBAYNET.com. Beginning in the next couple of weeks, TBN will be giving away $200 per week in Cheeseburger in Paradise discounts every week throughout the summer. Look for chances to win and get some great food and a lot of fun when the Cheeseburger in Paradise banner ad announces the discount contests.
