Mailbox Destruction Continues in Great Mills

On June 17, at 11:16 a.m., Tpr. J. Gibson responded to the 45000 block of Norris Road in Great Mills for the reported malicious destruction of property to a mailbox.
Upon arrival, contact was made with the female complainant, 69 of Great Mills. She advised she went to get her mail at 11 a.m., when she discovered the front door on the mailbox was taken. She also advised a couple months ago, unknown suspects removed the red flag from the side of the mailbox. This information was confirmed through a Postal Service employee.
The investigation continues and neighborhood checks were completed with negative results.
