Leonardtown's Beach Party a Real Blast

LEONARDTOWN - 8/10/2009

On Saturday, August 8 from 4 to 9 p.m., the Leonardtown Square came alive all sorts of beach fun and games including beach volleyball, hula dancing, jump rope, and a water slide.

Visitors to the quaint and historic county seat enjoyed all the activities, some live entertainment and a whole lot of fun throughout the day into the evening.

There was some live music by Sons of Pirates, a magic show with Magician Reggie Rice, free kayak rentals, carnival games, a rock climbing wall, moon bounce, sand art, classic cars & Corvettes, and more.

At the end of the Beach Party, there was a great fireworks show down at the Leonardtown Wharf. Best of all, the event was free for everyone!

TheBAYNET.com was there to capture it all. Take a look at the pictures here and see if you were “Caught in the Net!”
