Woman Arrested in Theft of Lady's Purse, Diamond Ring, Cell Phone

On September 6, at 1:59 p.m., TFC D. S. Brill responded to the 21000 block of Great Mills Road in Lexington Park for the reported theft over $500. 

Upon arrival, contact was made with the female complainant, 52 of Great Mills.  She advised unknown suspect(s) entered the residence and stole the victim’s purse.  Items stolen were a black Razor cellular phone valued at $100, several credit cards, a music CD valued at $15, brown wallet, valued at $10, black purse valued at $30, a diamond wedding ring and gold band valued at $7,500 and $500 in cash.  Total loss is estimated at $8,165.

Neighborhood checks were conducted and a suspect was identified.  TFC Brill and TFC E. Evans responded to the suspect’s residence in the 45000 block of Foxchase Drive in Great Mills. 

The suspect, Paulette Daisy Fisher, 52 of Great Mills, was located.  TFC Brill recovered everything except for the wedding ring and gold band and the $500 cash.  The recovered property was returned to the victim.  Fisher was taken into custody and to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where she was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner
