Man Turns Himself in to Police for Violating Probation

On Sept. 22, at 9:50 p.m., Philip Eastwood Metcalf, 23 of Laurel, was arrested by TFC E. M. Evans on an outstanding bench warrant for failing to follow conditions of probation.
Metcalf was originally charged with driving a vehicle while impaired by alcohol.
Metcalf turned himself in at the Leonardtown Barracks and was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner
