The Calvert County fair came to an end on Sunday, Oct. 4. This edition of Calvert’s fair – number 123 – began on Wednesday, Sept. 30. Even though attendance was a bit down, those that did attend report a great time.
The weather conditions were perfect and the grounds were great due to the 100 plus volunteers that worked to make the event a success.
TheBAYNET.com’s Dennis Hook was at the fair on Sunday taking pictures of all the fun and activities and the sights and sounds and scrumptious food. Perhaps you enjoyed the antique tractor pull, the 4-H lawn tractor driving, baby contest, alligator show, pig racing, horseshoe pitching, Jenny’s Gymnastics and the livestock, rides and other shows or activities.
