St. Mary's County Announces Fall Fitness Festival

The “Fall Fitness Festival” has been scheduled for Saturday, October 24 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Leonard Hall Recreation Center, in Leonardtown, Maryland.
  Citizens are invited to come learn how to get fit as a family. Many activities, attractions and door prize drawings are planned.  Health and fitness vendors will be present to highlight the programs and activities that promote health and wellness in the community.  FREE HEALTH SCREENINGS will be available to the public including hearing and vision. Seasonal flu shots will also be available to the public for a $20 fee.  There will be leisure demonstrations such as gymnastics, self defense, yoga and more.

The children's races will begin at 11:30 a.m. outside Leonard Hall Recreation Center.  The races are for children ages 4 – 10 years who wish to race for the chance to win a prize. Other children friendly activities will be on hand including amusements and face painting.
