On Oct. 4, at 12:43 p.m., Trooper Lewis stopped a vehicle for traffic violations. 

The passenger in the vehicle, Eugene R. Thomas, 23 of Washington, DC, provided false identification to conceal his identity to attempt to avoid open warrants against him. 

He was charged and transported to the Calvert County Detention Center for processing.
