Free Concert at CMM: Ray Owen to Entertain

Treat your family to an evening of traditional and contemporary music that promises a world of fun for all ages on Friday, Nov. 6, in the museum auditorium at 6:30 p.m. Enjoy a free concert featuring Ray Owen, performing The Song Buccaneer, a musical adventure filled with pirates, islands, sea life, beached ships, sailors, and mythical creatures. Grammy nominated Singer/Songwriter and National Recording Artist, Ray Owen has traveled around the world performing with legendary entertainers such as Willie Nelson, Garth Brooks, Arlo Guthrie, Bob Hope, as well as others.  

With a repertoire of 900 songs, Owen’s vocals, combined with good time music and humor, are captivating audiences everywhere. The New York Daily Record described Ray’s performances as, “Hotter than hot…the wunderkind one man show of shows.” His productions continue to be featured in The New York Times, Billboard Magazine, The Washington Post, Rolling Stone, Philadelphia Inquirer, Stereo Review, Chicago Tribune, and The Los Angeles Times. Ray Owen has appeared at Wolf Trap, the Philadelphia Folk Festival, the Kennedy Center, The Birchmere Music Hall, and dozens of fairs and festivals.
