Get Ready to Rock! BAYNET Radio Launches Monday, November 2

Beginning Monday, Nov. 2, TheBAYNET.com is going to change the way our readers listen to music and the face of radio. Starting at 8 a.m., BAYNET Radio launches world wide; 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

BAYNET Radio general manager, John Hunt, DJ and Radio Hall of Fame broadcaster, joins TBN to create a refreshing change of pace and quality radio – Internet radio with a kicker – Quality Rock and Roll, up-to-the-minute live and breaking news, sports programming, fun talk shows, live remote broadcasts and much more!
The music stream is live now even before we launch.   Click here to listen to the kind of music BAYNET Radio will offer and then on Monday morning, the station goes live. Prepare to be pleasantly surprised. Not only will readers get the best live local breaking news on TBN, but the very best in streaming radio entertainment – BAYNET Radio!

In the coming weeks, listen for BAYNET Radio to broadcast live from business locations around Southern Maryland and if all goes as planned, there will be iPhone and Smart phone apps to allow TBN listeners to stream BAYNET Radio anywhere including newer cars equipped with MP3 capabilities.

More than likely it will be the same weak "rock" music played on many of the stations here in SOMD. People down here cant handle a decent rock music station. Look what happened to the Rocket 97.7 (I think it was 3 times they changed formats in the last few years!)

I'm not........
......sure this business model is going to work. Internet radio is a crowded field already. Local airwave ready has gone out with the vinyl record. If all of those people in the picture are employees of this new radio format, how will they get paid? I'm anxious to see how this turns out. I am a fan of local radio that can give up to the minute traffic reports and good local news - something we no longer have in SoMd.

Rock is the best, and country too. But for R&B and Crap, that is a negative young boy. We don't listen to that sh**... There is none, but 97.7 was the best when it was. But now everyone has stopped listening to that crap channel. Most channels are alternative and play different genres. kthanks, oh by the way did I say, rap sucks? Of course I did because it does!

Fun Radio For Southern Maryland
This will be an internet radio station with the best Rock and Alternative (no screamo or rap)tunes as well as up to the minute NEWS, without the rumors and innuendo...just the facts! It should be fun and a great time for Southern Maryland! If you want to learn and hear about it FIRST, the real info will be right here!

I have been following a thread over there and noticed a user ID named Pandora was banned for jousting with them over negative comments made about John Hunt. Now I cannot wait to listen and hear for myself what has them obviously on edge.
