For Calvert County residents and visitors, November offers an entire month of activities for which we can be thankful.  Sunday, November 1, 2009 (9 a.m. – noon) Fall Colors Hike at Double Oak Farm American Chestnut Land Trust Double Oak Road, Prince Frederick, MD Join ACLT for a hike through the woods and enjoy the fall colors. Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for the weather. Registration requested. www.acltweb.org or 410-414-3400   Saturday, November 7, 2009 (11 a.m. – 1 p.m.) Share a Bear Calvert County Office on Aging 9010 Chesapeake Avenue, North Beach, MD Decorate or outfit an 11” teddy bear for use by Calvert Hospice. A hospice representative will speak on the organization’s services. The workshop is free, but limited to 25 people.
