Woman Struck by a Truck, Another Falls from Truck

At approximately 6:35 p.m. on Oct. 31, witnesses reported that a woman, who appeared to be intoxicated was struck by a truck in front of Starbucks in California. After questioning the driver of the truck, police determined that the woman was at fault and the driver was not charged. The woman suffered from what appeared to be a broken arm and was transported to the hospital.

In another unrelated incident on Friday, Oct. 30 at approximately 11 p.m., in the Hickory Hills Shopping Center, there was a report of an injured pedestrian and a vehicle leaving the scene. Investigation revealed that a woman, was allegedly standing on the running board of the truck and for unknown reasons the driver of the truck sped away, causing the woman to fall from the vehicle.

After being treated on the scene, the woman signed a refusal. Police are searching for the driver of the truck at this time.
