A victim advised Calvert County DFC Kevin Hall that on Oct. 30 at approximately 11 p.m., that she and her husband were in their vehicle traveling south on Md. Route 261 just south of Mears Avenue in Chesapeake Beach when she heard large bangs on the side of her vehicle.

After stopping, she and her husband observed three separate chips and dents in the paint near the passenger side door.  They appear to have been caused by pellets from an air rifle or BB gun.  The damage is estimated at $750.

Anyone with information is asked to contact DFC Hall at (410) 535-2800.
