Drugged Driver Caught on Route 4

While on the lookout for a possible drunk driver on Oct. 30 at 10:15 a.m., Calvert County Dep. Christopher Waldron located the suspect vehicle and conducted a traffic stop on Md. Route 4 northbound near Calvert Middle School. 

The driver, later identified as Michael Wayne Eells, Jr., 30 of St. Leonard, was found to be driving under the influence of drugs.  He was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and possession of a schedule III drug, Phendimetrazine.
