Shopper Leaves Giant with Unpaid Groceries: Arrest Made

On Oct. 29 at 1:12 p.m., Calvert County Dep. Daniel Deakins responded to the Giant food store in Prince Frederick for a theft report. 

The loss prevention specialist advised that he observed a suspect, later identified as Jessica Thomas-Taylor, 38 of Prince Frederick, leave the store without paying for items valued at over $120. 

She was arrested and charged with theft less than $500.
