Man vs. Mother Nature - Times Two

ST. JAMES - 11/9/2009

Printer friendly

In a strange few minutes, early on Monday, Nov. 9, in two separate incidents at the same St. James location, two Jeeps ended up flipped over in the area of 18248 Three Notch Road.

At approximately 6 a.m., a Jeep Wrangler tried to avoid deer in the highway and rolled off the road onto its top. A few minutes later, a second Jeep swerved to avoid more deer and the first accident. That vehicle flipped and ended up on its roof as well.

Units from Ridge Fire and Rescue and Lexington Park Rescue responded to the scene. Neither crash victim was entrapped, but both were injured and had to be transported to the hospital.

No word on the condition of either crash victim.
