Smart Start Sports Program: Register Now
CHARLES COUNTY - 12/23/2009
Start Smart is a nationally sanctioned program through the National Alliance of Youth Sports. This six week class is a fun introduction to a wide range of sports for children age 3-5. The program includes parents in preparing children for organized youth sports in a fun, non-threatening environment. The program teaches children using fun, developmentally age-appropriate equipment to prepare children for traditional sports without the fear of failure. Resident Fee: $40; Non-Resident: $45.
This year there are two programs to choose from. Start Smart Multi-Sport Program for age 3-5 will be offered each Wednesday, January 20-February 24, 6 -7 p.m., at Davis Middle School in Waldorf; as well as each Thursday, January 21-February 25, 6:00-7:00pm, at Henson Community Center in Indian Head.
The Start Smart Soccer Program for age 4-5 will be offered each Monday, January 19-February 23 in two locations. The Port Tobacco Recreation Center in Port Tobacco will hold the program from 5:30-6:30pm; and Hanson Community Center in Waldorf will hold the program from 6-7 p.m.
