County Investigating 35 Cases of Malicious Property Destruction
ST. MARY'S COUNTY - 1/20/2010
The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating 35 cases of malicious destruction of property. These crimes occurred January 9, 2010 through January 10, 2010, and again January 15, 2010 through January 17, 2010 between the hours of 3 p.m. and 3 a.m.
Unknown person(s) used an object(s) to smash vehicle windshields and mailboxes in the California, Lexington Park and St. Inigoes areas of St. Mary’s County, Maryland with the greatest concentration of the destruction in Town Creek, Chancellor’s Run and St. Inigoes. Based on the investigations it appears these crimes may be related.

If the information leads to the arrest and conviction, the caller may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
