The Maryland Right to Life Political Action Committee (PAC) has endorsed Collins Bailey in his bid to become House Representative of Maryland’s 5th Congressional District  which is composed of all of Calvert, Charles, St. Mary’s, and part of Anne Arundel and Prince George’s counties. Maryland Right to Life is the leading pro-life advocacy group in Maryland.

Angela Martin (Director of Maryland Right to Life) has this to say about Collins:  "Collins Bailey has a long history of leadership in the cause of life. He understands that the right to life is the paramount human right, without which all other rights are meaningless. Maryland Right to Life is proud to support him as a candidate to represent Maryland's fifth Congressional district."

“We are honored to receive Maryland’s Right to Life endorsement,” stated Bailey. “Life is a precious gift from God that begins at conception. I will be diligent to protect innocent life at all levels.  Life is our most basic Right.  It is not given (and should not be taken) by the government.  The framers of our nation understood this, in The Declaration of Independence Thomas Jefferson wrote:  “We hold these truths to be self evident, that all men are created equal and endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights: that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.””
